To maintain the security of our endpoints and infrastructure, it is mandatory to access company assets only via Corporate Wi-Fi or VPN when working remotely.
While we have provisions for emergency exceptions to ensure business continuity, itβs strongly recommended to use VPN at all times when outside the office.
We have configured two VPN profiles for your convenience, ensuring continuous connectivity:
Primary VPN Host: svpn.spinxweb.net:9944
Backup VPN Host: svpn2.spinxweb.net:9944
(Use this if the primary host is unavailable or you face connectivity issues.)
Our GlobalProtect VPN uses your laptop username and password for authentication. As per company policy:
Passwords must be updated every 90 days.
After changing your laptop password, you must also update it manually in the GlobalProtect VPN client.
Change your laptop login password when prompted.
Open the Palo Alto GlobalProtect VPN client.
Click Disconnect if already connected.
Reconnect by selecting your VPN profile (Primary or Backup).
When prompted, enter your new password.
Confirm successful connection.
Always connect to the VPN when working remotely.
After changing your password, immediately reconnect to VPN to update credentials and verify connection.
Avoid missing password expiry notifications to prevent connection issues.
In emergencies where VPN cannot be used, ensure prior approval as per business continuity protocol.
If you encounter any issues after following the above steps:
Try connecting to the Backup VPN Host.
Ensure your password is correctly updated in the VPN client.
Restart your laptop if necessary.
